What Are These Rifles Worth

I have a Savage over and under 22/20 gage and an Ithica lever action saddle gun, single shot 22 which I purchased back in the 60's. Any idea what these would sell for? I would venture to say each has been shot less that 100 times each.

TIA,
Jim

..they are worth what a person is willing to pay for them..

Last year a man was going to sell me a rifle for 450.00...The deal was agreed upon and he is my friend..He then checked the book price..which listed the rifle for aobut 700.00..He decided to keep the rifle..Did he get any takers? no..so then..what is that rifle worth..as much as the highest buyer will give him.

I'll take that Ithaca off your hands.

The Savage 24 O/U's are WAY overpriced in my opinion. I was "into" them for a while and I had a few. Savage just never seemed to get them canted correctly so that the POI was similar in both barrels.

The first one I bought was a 12/22 hornet, and if you sighted the hornet in at 50 yds, the 12ga was about a foot low.

To answer your question, a used Savage 24 is worth $3-500 depending on what it is and what condition it is. The 20ga/22 you have is not one of the higher valued caliber combos in my area.

Now I just realized that the person posting has 1 post...and probably will never read this. Another wasted 5 minutes...LOL

Here's a sad story about gun values. Every 1 I have is valued/worth everything I paid for it, some are worth/valued at somewhat more these days than I paid for them. The highest dollar valued gun in the locker is that damned BPS with the "special field steel"26"bbl and the spare 28"invector bbl. .

I watched 4 Ithaca model 49's sell at a local auction. All would of graded between 70 and 80 percent, and they brought between $125 and $175.
