"Marlins Micro Groove barrels have surpassed anything out there for slower lever cartidges"

I have heard the micro groove works well with jacket bullets but not so well with cast. I don't own one so I am just going by what I have read and heard from others experience. I do like the Marlin lever actions. In my opinion they have that niche in the gun market pretty well covered.

Make sure you ask the bad guy for a time out before he attacks you so you can rack a round etc...

That is what holsters with trigger guards are for. Also gun safety also plays a key role.

Don't fear a gun. Respect it and know the rules.
