RE: Rings and bases for 7mm STW
I used to say Leupold but recently became a big fan of the Burris rings. You can add inserts to change the position to give you max MOA adjustment with your scope if shooting very long distances. Either one will work fine. If you have to have something more beefy, you can always go the Badger route if you can afford it. I had some for a while on a hard recoiling rifle, they work great but were too heavy for my taste. I would say that would the " best" or most secure scope base and ring setup.
