Have you thought about a G23? It's the same dimensions but you carry .40S&W as a caliber instead of 9mm. I've been carrying a G30SF and it's just a 1/10 of an inch wider than your G19/23 and a 1/10" shorter but I carry .45acp ammo. Everybody has their own opinion of what feels best and what they like. depends: light carry my PPK in vest pocket or cargo pocket in my shorts. Normally I carry my Steyr M40 in a custom belt holster with a slight fwd cant. Occasionally I carry my 1911 in a fobus.
