Guess the Barrel Manufacturer
Barrel is stamped with the following:
O.C.A. M. Stitt 1992 22-250 I traced back to a gunsmith Micheal Stitt but he's no longer in business. Any idea what O.C.A means? Thanks Tom |
Thanks RR.

My Krieger says "Krieger Barrels" right on the side of it...
|
RR is talking about buying a blank and having your personal smith ream the barrel. Not ordering an already finished barrel.

Alright you guys had me second guessing myself so I just checked...and yep it says...
".270 Win" "Krieger Barrels" Its stamped just ahead of the receiver on the left side of the rifle. Its not new either, I'm guessing its a 90's vintage rifle...maybe the smith did it?? |
Not sure whats up with it, oh well doesn't really matter either way. My Broughton isn't marked, only chambering and smith's name.

None of my custom barrels are identified as to the maker, only the cartridge and smith's initials...... some go back about 10 yrs., some pretty recent.
