Browning X Bolt

After several months of looking at the Browning X Bolt, I broke down last night and ordered one. Found a good deal on Gunbroker for the Hunter model in 270 Winchester and could not resist.

I'm looking for suggestions as to what scope mounts to use. So far I have looked at the DNZ 1 piece mount and the Browning ring mounts which by the way, look like Talley's to me. Right now I'm leaning towards the DNZ's. The rifle is chambered in 270 Win and the scope will be an Elite 4200 3-9x40.

Any thoughts, ideas, or experiences from other X Bolt owners?

The Browing (Talley) 2 piece mounts are a great choice.

I own a X-bolt stainless stalker in .338 win.

I use those Browning 2 piece mounts which is what my smith recommended.

Just put my first box of 20 through it so far; but it held up fine (and 1" - 1 1/2" groups to start) !

Love the gun !!!
