Update: AR-15 - action problem corrected
A while back I posted there was trouble with my Bushmaster
XM-15. When a round was fired the action would not cycle closed it would stop 1/4" short. After cleaning and lubing more times than I care to count nothing changed boom click , boom click. So 2, weeks ago I went with a friend to pick up his Sig 556
he purchased it thru a local Gunsmith. After taking a quick look at my rifle, I was told take it home and put a new buffer spring in. if i can find a loose or weak one all the better. A hpone call to Brownell's and a few day's later I was @ the range. SURE enough the XM worked like it was NEW all over again. In 100 years I would of never expected somthing like the BS to give me so much trouble. I purchased this rifle new and if it has more than 3500 rounds thru it I'd be surprised... $teve
