Cooper - Magnum Cartridges ?

Why doesn't Cooper make magnum chamberings? Any ideas?

Thanks

Could be any number of reasons not the least of which the case head size of a magnum cartridge is larger. May be that their unique bolt design will not accomodate this.

I have a buddy who has no less than 7 Cooper Varmint rifles...they are excellent in quality. They use some of the finest pieces of wood to grace a factory rifle I've ever seen.

Kimber does make magnum rifles and its not much big stretch from a Cooper.

About the baddest they make is a 338-06. It's based on the 30-06 length cartridge.

Dang. That rules the coopers out. I'm on the fence with what cartridge. I in between 300WM and 338WM. I've just never shot a 338 WM so have no reference point. I know the 338 have much higher BC's. That's where my interests lie.
