Never owned an autoloading shotgun. I know zip about autoloading shotguns other than what I read in the mags. Bought what looks to be a like brand new Benelli Super Black Eagle II, 12 ga. from a co-worker's son. Kid lost his job. I cannot see that it has even been fired. It came with 5 Benelli choke tubes, Benelli's case. It is matte finish, VR, with nice looking wood. Paid what he was asking ... $700. Did I mess up? It supposedly will handle up to 3 1/2" shells.
And any advice on this shotgun. Cleaning hints, what to look for as far as wear and tear, anything I need to do to get it to cycle light loads well ? I've heard buddy's complain about their auto loaders not cycling light loads well. |
Yep, you should have paid another $400 or so......

You must be living right. That was a steal.

shoot a box of heavy loads (3 - 3 1/2") and then your auto will cycle the light loads.
BTW - As everyone told you, you stole it !!! |
