H&R Handi Rifle?

As some of you know i will be getting my first deer rifle soon. I posted early about how i decided to get a 7mm-08 and i was probably going to get it in a savage. Recently i have been searching the web and i found these H&R handi rifles. I can get one in a 7mm-08 brand new for like 250. Does anybody know anything about these. I will still probably put the varix-II on it. If you take them apart will the scope still be accurate or do you have to sight it in again. Thanks for the Help -Sam

RE: H&R Handi Rifle?

The Handi rifles are nice guns and work well. I have two of my own and a third I bought for my son. I plan to get one in 7mm-08 as soon as they are available; the last I knew it was supposed to be in July. If you have found one now please let us know.

They the scopes stay on the barrel so everything stays ok when you disasemble then.

I have 2 t00, havent shot mine a lot but i like them& where good prices.

Saw a H&R .270 at walmart recently had the lamanated stock etc looked nice....
