Default What would make you to buy a new rifle or shotgun this year?

What kind of manufacturer 'promotion' or 'special offer' would it take to make you seriously think about buying a new rifle or shotgun this year? Free ammo, shooting accessories, a guided hunt, a shopping spree, interest free financing, a field test trial period, something nice for the wife... ???

We are the shooters. Brainstorm with me and let me know all your wild and crazy ideas. Think out of the box. Help me out here because I might actually be able to help turn some of these ideas into reality.

Respond to this thread, or PM, or email me direct.

I dont think in the lines of thier promotions at all. Any firearm of mine is pretty carefully evaluated and planned out ahead of time, and when I have the means, I buy the best deal I can at that time. A gun is not (and in my opinion shouldnt be) an impulse buy.

A free Camo sling,a nice shooting stick or even a discount on say.....a nice Leupold scope to go with the gun?

A nice Manufacture's Rebate on a Rifle would be really nice too,if a person could get a $50.00 to $100.00 rebate that would be fantastic in itself. YeeeHaw

$500 gun with a $499 mail in rebate. lol. A gun that comes with some leupold dove tail rings and bases and a discount on a leupold rifle scope or binos like GTOHunter said.

I won't be buying any 'new' guns this year. Just like last year I will end up buying guns from people who can't afford to keep the ones they have.
