Light weight bolt gun with classic lines and real nice wood stock and Stainless Steel metal. A fantastic price, match grade barrel and a discount coupon for a quality scope, basses and rings. Perhaps offered in some classic calibers too, 6mm Rem, 250-3000, 257 Roberts, 257 Weatherby, 6.5 Rem Mag, 264 Win Mag, 270 Weatherby, 7x57, 280 Rem, 7x64, 8x57, 358 Win, Some of the not so common calibers.

Well I believe the more appropriate question would be "What would make you NOT buy a new rifle or shotgun this year?" But to answer your question - probably because I purchased a handgun.
