Remington R-25
 

So I've been thinking about getting one of these in 308 win for some time now. I was wondering if anyone has one and how they like it? What are the up's and downs on this rifle? I will be useing it for deer hunting mainly.

I'm right there with ya. I have the R-15 in .223 and it is great. I wanted to buy both last year when I got it. But $ is tight. At the local Dicks Sports by my house they had a .308 R-25 for $1100.00, I almost just slapped it on the old C.C. but the wife would have shot me with that gun.

So I am saving for one right now. I am hoping that by late summer I will own one.

have had one for 2 yrs now. love it to sit in a tree with, it will wear a guy out if u have to carry it to far, very heavywith a 15 shot clip

Look into the Remington AR 30! The Remington upper will fit on your lower. Almost the same ballistics as a .308, but you only need to buy half the gun. Check it out!
