For sentimental reasons, my Model 1899 Savage lever action in .303 Savage which I inherited from my grandfather. My grandfather put meat on the table for his family with that gun during the Great Depression of the 1930s.
For a shooter I like my Weatherby Vanguard in .300 WBY Magnum. I never would have believed any rifle, let alone one costing less than $500 new, could shoot groups as tight as this gun does.
