what you all think about the same money which would be better gun for all around bird and clays shooting or maybe a different gun in price range

To start off with,pump or semi auto?

like a pump just fine was looking at semiautos though ...they sure are high and I dont know a lot about semi autos would like to find one around this price range maybe 500 or so.

The Stoeger 2000 is an excellent shotgun. You're going to love it. Mine has had the crap beaten out of it and still functions perfectly. I've never had a failure of any kind with it.
