Bigtim, I highly suggest not getting on with electronic. Takes me 10 sec to get into my browning safe. I do have friends with electronic locks, but sooner or later you will have trouble with it. As an electrical engineer (before optics), electronics fail.

Thought you where talking about me for a minute. LOL I went compo as the guy at gander said in 5 seconds you could knock the digital pad of and your screwed. Though I do not see how you could not just get a new pad. Takes me less then a minute to get into my safe. Plus like bigcountry says it is electronics they fail sooner or later. I plan on getting a bigger safe next fall. The 10 gun sentry is not big enough nor safe enough for me. Plus dad said he would give me the 300 bucks back for it when i do. Guess he needs one for normal stuff. I will properly go browning or cannon with a combo.

I would also agree. Cheap gets you cheap stuff. Though i notice on my 300 sentry combo safe you can run past the last number atleast 3 or 4 numbers go back and open it. Though i guess if you know the first two numbers your going to know the third anyway
