870 Trigger?
 

Does anybody have any tricks to get a clean break out of the 870 trigger? I've never really noticed the amount of creep til I put a scope on it and took it to the range with some slugs. Shining/lubing the engagement surfaces are a given, but I'm wondering if anyone's shimmed anything--or has done anything else to clean the trigger up?

Okay nevermind I figured it out. Just shim in front of the rear pin bushing to reduce creep. I cut up a pop can for shims and taped them together, I'll glue them in place later. Trim 1-2 coils off the spring and stretch it a little to reduce weight.

For the curious, a shim of .030" eliminated creep. Oh, and-- You'll hafta take that much material off the back trigger as well so the safety/gun still works.
