true. You guys make a good point. Might just get the remington then later get the tactical sass. or a 5,56 and deck it out.
I was worried about remingtons ar. Nice to see there the same as the dpms and bushmaster.

Tim, Z is right on. If you're not mounting a flashlight and a laser you don't need the quad rail. Yes it looks cool, but they're actually uncomfortable and if you put covers on the rail they get very fat. If you don't mount a light and a laser, and you put covers over the rail so that the slots don't cut your hand when you fire, you just wind up with an uncomfortable version of what Remington gives you for a lot more money. You can buy a bi-pod a Walmart for $40. Flashiders do not help accuracy, at best your accuracy will stay the same as it would be without one. As far as stocks go, there are hundreds of different ones to chose from, all for under $100; I doubt that you'll find the Remington to be a bad one. That Magpul stock on the DPMS is totally unnecessary, you're not going to miss a deer if you don't adjust you length of pull by 1/8" at the last second, not worth the $255 that they charge. This is the overkill that I'm talking about.
