Seriously, if this girl is has enough of a problem with hunting and hunters that she doesn't want to talk to you anymore, then she did you a favor. I'd tell her that's fine and move on. At least she was honest and forthright about her feelings on the matter. A lot of women would have kept their mouths shut and tolerated it until they got their hooks in deep (as in, married), then sprung it on you that you weren't gonna hunt anymore. Plenty of other women our there that won't get between you and your lifestyle... in fact, you might just find one that likes hunting as much as you do. Mike |
RP, why don't you just go away? Are you too stupid to realize when you're not welcome? Nobody gives a rip about what you have to say anymore. You are living proof that stupid, obnoxious and arrogant aren't a good combination, nor will it win you any friends or admirers. I think that you are a small man desperate for attention and adoration, but the fact is that no one here likes you or respects you. Do you wonder why you get banned in less than 24 hours every time you make a new identity? It's because there are a number of folks, including myself, that make sure that the mods and admins are alerted to your return so they can delete you.
Bottom line? Just because you have a lot of guns, and even if you shoot and hunt a lot, doesn't mean that everyone else is inferior to you or that you somehow deserve to be fawned over like a rock star. You are a loser of the highest order. Now go away. Mike |

Gotta agree with drifter, hit it and forget it my friend. The problem with people like that is that you're not gonna change them. There are hundreds of thousands of people like that who complain about hunting while their eating their hamburgers and nuggets. Lets face it, even though our species is on the top of the food chain darwin was wrong because there are plenty of stupid people out there.

me and my wife are comeing up on our 12th wedding annaversary in july 2010. when we first met she not only dislike hunting, wild game meat, she even didn't think people should keep guns. but i liked her and wanted to get to know her better, so i took her out a few times but did not discuss hunting at first i slowly eased into it. we fell in love with each other and started talking about our future, then i thought i had better talk to her about hunting and guns. she was stubborn but kept an open mind, i showed her videos of animals that were'nt hunted in certain areas and how diseased they were and starving, how healthy the ones in areas that are hunted are. and took her to a slaughter house, now that really was the iceing on the cake. she said that she agrees with me hunting is more humane, now to get her to eat deer meat. she agreed under one condition, if she tried it but hated it that i would'nt keep trying to get her to eat it. i agreed i cooked it up, she tried it, well i had to go to my friends house and get more meat. she loved it and that part of the conversion was over. i do have to say she still can't bring herself to eat rabbit, she had one for a pet once so she still wont try it, but she says its ok to hunt them, and she'll cook them for me so cool with that. guns have been a slower process untill last year she only thought( after some talk about home invasions and other criminal acts) that a person should only be allowed guns in their home. then tragedy struck, last year a guy she knew for her whole life was walking home in town on a sidewalk, a group of guys on booze and drugs started to harrass him then stabbed him in the heart. she then after she stopped crying told me she was sorry she ever thought the way she did. now she wants me to get my concealed weapons permit as soon as we can. i was paitiant and i beleive we have to be when we try to convince someone who doesn't understand about hunting or guns. if you like her i say try to take her out again, slowly progress to hunting. now i was blessed to have a women that was open minded, but she was stubborn in the begining. now if your girl wont even think about being open minded and is her or the hiway attitude then its probably a lost cause. but it wont hurt to try, if you like give it a shot at least you say you tried. if you don't you'll always wonder what if.

yea bro if she says she doesnt know if she can even talk to you because you hunt, she's not worth your time. There's plenty of girls out there who wont mind if you hunt and may even want to hunt with you. A girlfriend who would be open to trying hunting would be awesome haha

I told her sure but i was going hunting or scouting. If she would like to go great. Then she emails me back. saying something rather upsetting to me. She says to be honest i think hunting is wrong and a very bad thing for wildlife and that it is a not needed to survive today. She says that she feeling people should be able to do what they want if it does not hurt others or wildlife. :throw: Then she tells me that she does not know if she can talk to me or get to know me if i hunt. My first thought is to tell her to **** herself. But i thought no that would look bad for hunters. A friend of mine said he would think i would be more worried about upsetting her. Not at this point. I told her i could understand I even gave her the line of how hunters helped control animal pop. Which helps control diesease and such. I also told her i hunt because deer meat is healther and organic compared to everyday meat. She said she did not think of it that way and could never kill a animal. She said she would talk to me in a few days. I have not got another message yet. :rant::s6::(:violin: Owell. I ant giving up hunting for any woman. Even if it was miss america, ANT HAPPENINg.
