HD Ruger No. 1 Accurizer
 

Has anyone used the Accurizer block for the Ruger No. 1, or heard anything about them? I' m wondering if it would make a difference on my rifle.

This #1 in 416 Rigby is stock and shoots quite well. I have heard of some accuracy tricks you can do with the hanger also but have had good accuracy with out any work on my #1' s

Thats a hell of a group. I' d hate to half to shoot that monster off of a binch. I was just wondering about the accurizing block. If my No. 1 in 7mm does' t do well which after some fine tuning of my handloads, I think it will, I may like to add the HD block.

This is a tough subject...people either say you don' t need them or swear they work great. I had a 1b in 280 and it didn' t need it nor did my 1s 45/70 both shot well that I didn' t want to muck with anything . My complaint with the 1b was the trigger pull, the 1s came from Ruger with a sweet 3 1/2 lb trigger.

Double A that is one fine shooting rifle hold onto that one.

You can subtract bullet diameter from that group if you like, after all .600" for the needle blower shooters does not seem that special. When you subtract bore diameter for a center to center measurement now we got somthing. Excelent group, hows the shoulder? Ever try the Kiplinger single set trigger for the #1? I really like them, unset around 3 pounds, set about 6 oz.
