around 6 or 7, don't remember exactly, but it was shooting an old single shot 22 where you had to pull the bolt back to **** it

BB Gun - 4-5yrs old
.22 - 6yrs old
410 and 12gauge 7yrs old
243 and 6mm 8yrs old.

Plan on doing about this same scale with my boy that is 3 right now but I'll probably start him on a 28gauge around 7yrs old.

like 10 with the .22, then the 20 gauge at and then progressivly going up through rifles and shotguns. I use a 12 guage w/ pumpkin balls for deer now. HUNT ON
