Thanks for the inputs . The 10/22s are pretty hard to come by out here . I was thinking about a single shot . They are as much as the reapters .

Sure the 10/22s are a lifetime rifle. Each of my 3 boys have one and I have 2.
And the Henry sure is a dandy! But when dealing with young, new shooters it is especially important to keep the biggest emphasis on safety. And for that reason IMO you stay away from something that will, once the safety is OFF, will fire everytime you pull the trigger until it is empty. Therefore I do recommend an H&R or a bolt action. IMO you should definately check out the Keystone Cricket. ![]() |
10/22 though it will cost about 200 bucks. There is no 22 better in my eyes. i was shooting a monster can at the range the other day 100 yards 10 for 10. And mine is stock with a cheap bsa scope. You can change barrel, stock, make it a gatlin type gun, heck i saw a 2k kit to make it look just like a SAW. I am not sure anything in the world can be customized in so many ways.
