First Rifle
 

Been doing handguns and Shotguns and finally decided to move on to deer hunting this season. After some saving, i decided to get a gun that i could use for whitetail, and bigger game down the line.

That will work just fine for every big game species in North America. Don't let that keep you from buying another rifle now and then though.

the Remington Model 700 XCR in .300 Win Mag is all that you will ever need for hunting ..no need to buy other rifles unless u like to carry 2 rifles into the bush ..

Very nice and good choice on a first rifle. As long as you continue to shoot that rifle well there is no need for any other big game rifle. You can tailor a load to whatever you need.
