Mossberg 500 cantilever rifled barrel
 

I have a Mossberg 500 and wanted to purchase the cantilever rifled barrel scope combo at Walmart for 150.00. Anyone have good or bad reviews they will share before I buy one? Thanks.

If you are speaking of the Mossberg barrel combo, I bought one a few years ago for a Mossy 500 and it worked out fine. The scope was actually nearly perfectly zeroed right off. Heck of a deal.

Didn't like the scope it came with and put something on I prefered.

What kind of grouping/accuracy did you achieve at 100 yards?

the barrel is just what you need, but the scope is another issue, it is crap. Just get the barrel and get yourself a decent scope, for the money the Bushnell Trophy is a very good scope for the money, I like the 3-9x40

Shotguns are iffy, you need to try various sabot slugs to see which one your gun likes
