Bullet trajectory for a .300 WSM

I am limited to how far I am able to sight my .300WSM in. I have it set dead on for 50 yards as most of my deer are bagged in the heavy woods. How will my bullet impack at 100 yds. using a 150 grain bullet. I am curious as if it will vary very much from 50 yds.

Thanks in advance

Only way to know for sure is shoot it. However a by the numbers/book guess would be a touch high at 100 (+1/4" or so) & 200 you'll be about - 2.75- 3.0" (low).

Thanks a lot guys. You have both been a big help.

I would personally sight in at 200, that will put almost zero at 50 yds, 1.5" high at 100 and about 2.5" low at 250.

Go to WINCHESTER.COM and go to the balistic chart and punch in caliber and bullet grain. It will tell you how high to sight in your rifle.

Only way to tell for sure is to shoot it.The height of your scope can cause you to shoot differently than someone else.
