gun value

I am new to posting on this site. A person I know wants to sell his 2 guns, he is not into hunting anymore. Below is the info on the guns. Would anybody know of a fair price, or there values for the guns?
  1. Browning Arms Co., Morgan Utah; made in Belgium; 30-06 semi auto in great condition.
  2. Ithaca; made in Japan, roto-forged, "custom crafted for Ithaca by SKB", model 20 - 12 ga. 2 3/4"; good condition.
Thank you for any help you can offer.

Are you sure that the Ithaca is a model 20 and not a model 200?

Is the Browning one a BAR? What year was it made? Is it one of the newer safari ones or just the regular BAR? Does it say made in Belgium assembled in Portugal or just made in Belgium? What kind of shape is it in? Any scope or anything?

I don't have any idea on the other one but might could help you find out around what the Brownings are selling for with a little more info.

If the Browning is the regular old BAR they are pretty good guns. Not known for being the most accurate. 2-3" groups at 100 yards seems to be about what I've come to expect from these guns. Some guys seem to get ones that will shoot under 1" while quite a few others get ones that shoot about 2". This is fine for hunting but not the best for the range.

If you want an idea of a guns value, check out GunBroker.com or Auctionarms.com. Search for the make and mdl# of the gun and it should get you in the ball park.
