A-5 humpback went for a swim.. help
Yup the old browning went for a swim in the kayak and I did forget my paddle at first but this wasn't what it was intended for. I took off the barrel, forestock, rings and spring, duck plug, and lubed it with rem oil after I removed dirt and seaweed and brushed the bore and action the best I could. I took it out the next day and it shot fine but still some water in the action.
Do you guys have any tips I should do such as take it apart further and have it cleaned. I don't have the proper sized flat head's to take it apart. On a side note I want the saftey switched to be left hand friendly, anyone have any ideas on costs for this? |

If you live near a gunsmithing school, go to them, tell the teacher the same thing. What ever you do get it cleaned, the mud grit will ruin it. Good Luck. |
