T/C Encore question.

I am thinking about getting an encore just wondering what everyones opinion is.
Thinking about a 300mag, the 50cal blackpowder and a turkey barrel.
Probably won' t get them all at the same time, just wondering if anyone knows the least expensive route to getting a good start.

I love my Encore! I started off with a 25-06 barrell and " snowballed" from there...:D

RE: T/C Encore question.

I' ve been saving up for one, and hopefully will have it by deer season. I' m thinking my first barrel will be the 7mm-08, then the 12 guage turkey barrel followed by the 12 guage slug barrel... etc... etc... etc.... :D [8D]

I think they are a great gun, shoot great and you can' t beat the versatilty. E. Arthur Brown http://www.eabco.com runs some nice packages for barrels, which include a barrel, mounts, rings, sight removal and a Swift scope. I' m going to buy my revicer first at a local gun show then will proably order a barrel from somewhere else like EABCO or http://www.natchezss.com

Good Luck!

When I was thinking of getting one I broke it down, and the least expensive route was going with the T/C Encore 209 X 50 Muzzleloader first. Good luck.

I have a T/C Encore with a 7mm Rem. mag and really like it. I was disappointed when I mounted the scope on to the rifle. I didn’t like the distance between the hammer and the scope. There was not enough room for me if I had to wear gloves so I had to get a hammer spur to extend the hammer to the side. Other then that it’s a nice gun. It’s also nice and short.

The least expensive way I found was to get the muzzle loader first then get the rest of the barrels from Midwayusa.com.
I really like the heavy barrel options from Fox Ridge Outfitters. (T/C' s custom shop)

RE: T/C Encore question.

Thanks guys, I was in the local shop today and they have the turkey gun full camo for $507 and a blued blackpowder for $572, I may have to save up and get the turkey gun and roll from there.
Thanks again.
