Talking Went to the Pistol Range Last Fri

Decided to take my .40 cal H&K USP this time. As usual, shot from between 12 and 15 yds. Made tighter groups than before, so asked my nephew, Jason (Jersey Jays Taxidermy) to take a couple of pics so I could post and share them with everyone. Made some big holes, didn't I?

Excellent shooting! How fast where you pulling the trigger? I didn't know there is that much 40 cal ammo out there these days. Figured it was all gone.

Hi Tom, thanks for taking a look and for the nice words. The indoor range I frequent doesn't allow rapid fire or double taps, but I do squeeze off a shot approx 1 round per second or two. I have 2 mags and load 10 rounds in each, shoot the 20 rounds, reload and continue. Takes me much longer to reload than to shoot.

Several months ago, ammo inventory was very low, but last couple of times I was at the gun shop, inventory was increasing. Last time I was there I was able to purchase 300 rounds of the .40 cal as I like to shoot at least 200 rounds at the range. This time put 250 rounds thru my H&K.

Dang good shooting. I love seeing people enjoy shooting. Now if they would just let you see how quick you can get it out of the shoulder rig and double tap the bad guy target .

Thanks for your comments. Would be interesting if I could do that. Shoulder holster "might" pose a problem, though.

Very nice shooting! Would make me think twice about kicking your door in! The poor sucker (god for bid they try) doesn't even know what he's walking into.
