Ruger 96/44 rings

I bought a 96/44 at a gunshow. The gun did not come with the Ruger rings. I could not find an online source of rings for this model. However I did find rings for model 77's and #1's and #3 rifles. Does anybody know if I can put M77 or #1 rings on my rifle? Thnx

Try www.midwayusa.com They have bases for the 96/44 that accept weaver style rings.
