What do you think about this decision?
Ok was going to use a 270 for my elk, bear, antelope combo.
I then decided it was too much of a hunt to not take the right caliber so I ordered a Hill Country Harvester in 300wsm, talley rings and a Ziess 3.5-10 X 50, Black McMillan Stock.
Sighting in withh Federal Premium 180gr TSX. Just thought what the hell, you live once and I hope to hunt moose and Mountian Goat in the near future. DId I make a good choice??

You're getting a new gun, and any time that is involved, you've made the right choice.
Although I've shot numerous elk with a .270 and never felt under-gunned, when you threw in the fact that you might go after the mighty moose in the future, I definately think you made the right choice.

Well the 270 wsm is zeroed with 130 TSX and ready for deer season so I thought time to get the 300wsm, I figure with those 2 calibers Iam good and if I ever go to Africa I can add the 338 or 325wsm and be set
