Need some Help

Ok I need a little help. I am getting ready to by a new rifle and I dont have the money to buy something to special. I have a few rifles that I am looking at getting and I would like some feedback or suggestions on them. I am looking a a savage 110fxp3, a weatherby vangaurd with a tan stock, or looking at a stevens model 200.

I can get the savage package for 397, the vangaurd for 350, or the model 200 for 300 dollars. Any help or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

Scott

Get the Savage package with the Accutrigger.

Get the Vanguard or the Savage witht he accutirigger. Both should shoot great out of the box. Make sure you have enough money to get a good scope to top them off with none of that bubble pack stuff from wallyworld.

I have a savage 7 rem mag and its a sweet shooter it will stack it favorite load of IMR 7828 and a hornady 154 old school spitzer flat base into 3/4 of a inch at a 100 sorry to run on but here how I would pick them the savage first the weatherby next and the stevens last it all depends how your funds are

good luck

Go with Savage !!!

I have a Savage 110 in 7mm Remington Magnum and it will shoot sub-MOA past 300 yards with factory loads (e.g. Winchester Supreme 150 grain BST; Federal Premium 160 grain Nosler Partitions)...inside 100 yards there is always one ragged hole.

I have a Savage 116 in .270 Winchester that will shoot right at 1 MOA (1-1.5) out to 200 yards.

Savages are great shooters out of the box...had to replace the scope on the 7mm...the Wallyworld scope broke a reticle that cost me a nice 8-pt.

If I were you I would get a Marlin XL7.

I'd get the vanguard, I picked one of the 7 mags up a wally world when they hit $390. Other than it takes to much powder to reload (I like the 308 family) and it really lets you know you pulled the trigger it's a excellent gun (the trigger on this one isn't to bad either) Probably in the 1 1/4-1 1/2 group size the way I shoot so it would be a little less than that off a sled or something. I've got 2 others and their sub MOA guns and they do what they are advertised to do

If it feels good and comfortable to you. Get a Savage with the Accu-trigger its a great gun for the money.
