Deal or No Deal??

While at a local gunshop today I noticed a pretty little gun sitting on the edge of the rack. Upon inspection I found that it was a Benelli Montefeltro "Super 90" 20 gauge. 5.5 lbs, what an absolute delight to hold and shoulder.

I figured that for such a nice gun they would get a rediculously large price tag but I found somthing that seemed quite reasonable.

For being a used, 90-95%, Benelli Montefeltro 20 gauge, they were asking $650.

What do you think about the price?

Deal or no deal?

And the gun is practically brand new, gorgeous looking and all bluing and wood is near perfect.

Thanks!

BHB

Is this a deal that is worth hopping on or not so much?

Really I have looking and looking and looking at over and unders. For the intended use of Ducks on down to smaller birds...but I mean this has the ID system so I think it would work just as well if not better for the purpose I am intending.

How would this compare for hunting and only a little clay shooting versus a Citori Lightning?

Thanks!

If its as you say, thats a great price. I don't own a Benelli, but I've shot my friends Montefeltro a few times, what a great gun. You'll regret letting this one go if you don't buy it IMO.

It is a nice little hunting gun, light and responsive. For the clay games though it is a bit light. It will probably beat you up a bit on the recoil, but if it is an every now and then type of thing you might just get used to it.

Being a 20 guage I dont think recoil will be an issue, and wont be doing a ton of clay shooting.

So would a gun like this montefeltro or a browning citori be better suited for Hunting, ducks and smaller?

Really the amount of clay shooting is a minimum and when I do shoot clays they are hand thrown practice, no competition or skeet shoting.
