Default New shotgun reccomendations.

I'm in the market for a new Pump Action shotgon, preferably 12 or 20g, I don't have much to spend on one at most $350.

You can never go wrong with a Remington 870.

All mentioned are good (and I have all of them and then some to compare) as are most other major brand name pump guns. But for the money you want to spend, the best value for your dollar is the 870...by far.

Mossberg and Remington are about your only choices in that price range.

Unbiased and experienced in the gun arena, that's what I like about you BigJ71, keep helping us average Joe's.
I had an 870 and a Mosseberg 500 (? I think) and agree the 870 is a great addition to anyone's arsenal!

Look into the Mossberg 500 combo, Dicks Sporting Goods has them on sale often for roughly $300

Unless you buy the Express version as they have several known issues.

The 870 Wingmaster seems to be a great gun and not have these issues but I'm not sure you could find one for $350 either.

I do not like the 870 Expresses at all after having one. Most on here have probably seen me post about it in the past. $350 isn't a whole lot to work with but in that price range I'd trying to find a used Benelli Nova or maybe even a Mossberg as you could get one of those new.

Thank you for your input. With my job and stuff I do not rake in enough for a nice as shotgun as I would like, but I would like something better than what I have at the momment which is a SingleShot and quite frankly it is a hassle when you need to fire multiple shot in a row.
