RE: Mossberg 935 or Stoeger XT2000
My experience with Stoeger is nothing less than great. I have an older Stoeger 2000 and I've never had one problem with it. To the tell you the truth I bash the $hit out of the gun. I take it to the range and shoot trap, turkey hunting. I've dragged and pushed it across a couple of fields chasing birds. Dropped it in a creek once. Not one problem other than I've broken the front fiber optic sight twice. Cost me $6 to fix.

RE: Mossberg 935 or Stoeger XT2000
Dollar for dollar and inch for inch, ALL STOEGER products are the best kept secret in the shotgun world.. I own two of them, a 2000 semi camo and a P-350 turkey/predator with a pistol grip.. $400 for the first and $299 for the second... I've patterned them both with some of the most expensive made and there is ZERO difference in the patterns.. WHY spend 3-4-5 times the money.. no other shotgun will pattern 3-4-5 times better...I've never had a single problem with either and would buy both again without question.. CAN'T be beat for the money...

I can sure vouch for the 1 I've got (2000). It's performed flawlessly for me.

RE: Mossberg 935 or Stoeger XT2000
The fit and finish on my 2000 is better than any Rem 870 Express I've ever owned or handled (I've owned three over the years), and with the included accessories and the fact that it's a semi-auto, make it a much better value than an 870 Express which is comparable in price. And I can also say that my gun (which is also the latest generation with a fiber-optic bead) goes BOOM-BOOM-BOOM as fast as I can pull the trigger, without exception, with EVERYTHING I've run through it to date. If they started making them in 20 gauge, I'd have two without a second thought.
