The CDL may feel longer because it does have a longer LOP than the XCR....atleast it's longer according to Remington's website. 13 1/2" for the CDL and 13 3/8" for the XCR.

Get the CDL or a BDL. They will shoot great. The A-Bolt will also be a good shooter but will never have the feel of the Rem 700. Post a pic of whatever you get.

Thanks for all the responses!

I honestly expected everyones answers to be more one sided.

That really says a lot about the reputation of both the Remington and the Browning!

Please keep the opinions coming.

One poster made a great point earlier.....if the length of pull felt short on either rifle, I guess I could always have him add a little thicker spacer in between the stock and recoil pad.

I shoot a Ruger, one brother shoots a Remington and the other a Browning...We all kill deer...

Between a Remington and a Browning, I would go with the Remington for one reason...I know how to
adjust a trigger on a Remington 700 and have never tried a Browning...

The only advantageI can think of with a Browning is that the safety is a tang safety like my Ruger...

I think that all the talk about accuracy from one brand to another is just so much chatter...I can outshoot most hunters with their own rifle...We have about 15 different hunters a season come through and frankly the average guy won't ever know the difference...

For those of us that do understand what real accuracy is, we'll do whatever it takes to get that kind of accuracy out of a rifle no matter what it takes...
