RE: Sweets Copper Remover

Should I return the Hoppes Copper Solvent I just bought and buy a bottle of CR-10?

s4bill, either will work. I have about all of them. Just to try different things. Just in my opinion, be careful with the CR10. Its mean stuff.

I have used cr-10 and sweets for many years with no rust or any other foreign material developing.I have seen no loss of accuracy or barrel pitting of any kind.Cr-10 or sweets will remove copper in minutes that the hoppes copper remover would need days to remove.

s4bill:

I would go with the CR-10; just make sure and follow the instructions. Good shooting!!
