in these times they should have a free basic membership. some people just cant spare the 35$. i bet there membership would double if they had an associate free membership. ive sent the link to several friends. everyone should be doing this. lets shake things up.

As far as I know, there is no catch. I have seen this posted on at least 5 other sites and the story is they are just trying to get their numbers up for more clout. I know a lot of folks think the NRA is not that great but I know they do more for my individual gun rights than I do for myself.

I paid for a year membership a few weeks ago. Haven't seen or heard from them since the $25 charge on my credit card.
