The best and safiest thing you could do is go with an adult.I' m sure under the age of 18 with a rifle and 21 with a handgun you' ll be asking for trouble. In today' s world I would not advise you taking that chance. You could check with your local authories, but I' m sure you' ll get the answer you don' t want.Take it easy. A couple more years you' ll be able to do it and not get hasseled doing so.With all the teen shootings at schools, you' re just asking for trouble being in possession of a firearm. I' m sure others here will agree.

R-R is probably right. Check with your local authorites before you go out with a gun by yourself.
What happend to the days when I was 15 or 16 years old. And I' m only 29. My buddies and myself used to be able to ride our bikes through town with our shotguns and rifles slung over our shoulders to go shoot some paper or go rabbit hunting. No one botherd us and better yet not a single person or someone elses property got shot up. There are just too many idiots in this world now! |

Call the Plainwell DNR Management Office at 1-269-685-6851, ask for someone in Law Division. Jon Jackoviak The Optic Zone www.theopticzone.com |

You might get a reasonable answer from the local game department, as suggested above. Never ask a police officer to tell you what the law is, always consult an attorney!! If you are concerned about criminal law, ask the local prosecutor' s (district attorney or whatever) office!! They' re the ones that' ll decide if what you are proposing to do constitutes a crime or not!!
