100 grain 270 ammo for yotes?
 

Anyone ever used them?

Is this something you loaded up? I've never seen any 100 gr. factory loads in .270. Unless your a hide hunter why just use 130 gr.?

Remington makes a 100 grain. I saw it online.

I think I've seen 100gr reduced kick loads before....if those are them then you will probably still just have the trajectory of a 130gr regular load...

I think I'd stay within a normal range and try to shoot some 130gr nosler ballistic tips etc...

I used 130gr Feds... instant death... small holes.

Remington has 100 gr. full power cor-lokts and 115 gr. reduced recoil cor-lokts.

Get a box and see if they shoot well if they do go for it they will kill a yote. If they don't go for the 130 gr.

I don't see any advantage in the 100 gr. vs the 130,

Federal makes a new 110 grain load that will shootabout as flat and as fastthan any factory 22.250 out there. Big difference is, your throwing down a 110 grains! There expensive though.

I've used the 110 Sierra for varmints. But the light, fast explosive slugs are too damaging if you want to keep the fur!!
