SOLD

I am selling this for a co-worker of mine that needs the money more than the rifles.

First the complete rifle. It is a blued walnut 308 Winchester with a 26" bull barrel. Not a scrach on the steel and very very minor safe marks on the wood. So faint that they can't be seen in the pics. Sitting on top ofthe .308is a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14X50, matte finish, duplex reticle. Weaver base and Weaver Grand Slam steel rings.

Second is the 45/70 barrel. Blued steel with the adjustable iron sights still attached. Sitting on the 45/70 is a Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5-10X50 with rain guard. Weaver base and Weaver style rings. Buttler Creek flip up scope caps.

I honestly can't tell that he has ever fired either barrel. They are that good. The only marks on the barrels is where the frame meets the barrel which is perfectly normal. Otherwise they are spotless.

Third is all of the ammo.
308 AMMO - Two full boxes of Federal premium 150 grain ballistic tips, one fullbox of Federal power shock 150 grain soft points, one fullbox of Winchester supreme 150 grain ballistic tips.
45/70 AMMO - Two full boxes of Hornady LEVERevolution 325 grain flex tip. Over $200 worth of ammunition

It sure does look like a great deal!
Unfortunately the calibers mix/match to my current guns, sorry.
I have a .30-06, so that nix the .308 and I have no need for a .45-70.

Now if you could get me an incredible price, so I could trade the barrels in for a 12/20ga. rifled slug with scope mount and a .50 cal. muzzle loader we could talk?;)

For someone getting into hunting maybe for whitetail and bear/moose/african animals this is an awesome deal.
I can't blame him if he wanted to sit this out for a while, I'm sure it will appeal to the right person!
I think most people want the synthetic stock, so this might make it a little bit harder...
Also, in a few more months people will start chomping at the bit!

You offered $1000 and several days later offered $1200. This guy wants to move these but he isn't stupid.

If you want to act like an ass do it in some one elses thread.

This is one hell of a deal for someone for $1400.

Alright guys, he needs to sell these fast.
He reduced the price to $1200 plus shipping.

I think he should hold on to them until hunting season but I guess hunting club dues and such are coming up fast so the guns gotta move.
