Yeah it will shoot them. I read a test artical where they were shot in one.

Contact Ruger directly to see if it is approved for +p ammo.

If you will look at ammo recommendations in your manual, I'm positive it WILL include +P. If you bought it used and don't have a manual, contact Ruger and they'll send you 1 for free.
