No they allow the 357 rounds...I can shoot 38s out of my 357 too...Im just not a huge fan of revolvers. and the 357 has a 6in barrel so its a little big IMO.

Just looking for a nice all roundsemi auto to shoot.
I like revolvers and semi-autos. Your grip and trigger pullwill be different for each. There are strengths and weaknesses of each.If I was in a close quarters situation Iwould prefer a revolver with a 3 inch barrel. If I could only have one handgun, it would be a 44 Mag (4 to 5inch barrel, 5 shot, ifit was to be used for concealed carry using 44 Special +P against 2 legged perpsand 44 Mag for the woods - if not a concealed carry and mostly a hunting gun a 6 inch barrel,6 shot, with 44 Special +Pas the house load and full power 44 Mags for hunting). A 6 inch barrel will not point as quickly as a 4 inch barrel. A 5 shot is slimmer than a 6 shot.

Not going to carry it, just use it for in house defence just in case...

Im liking the looks of the H&K as well as the S&W M&P

Not a beginner by any means...Im an avid hunter and own a couple rifles, muzzleloader, shotgun, 22LR, 357mag, Hoyt Bow, ect. Just looking into getting my first semi auto pistol. Dont have to be real fancy. Im not going to reload roundsfor it or shoot it competitively, just own it, occasionally shoot it for recreation, and not flash it around like im Dirty Harry...lol

Just the sportsmans club has an Indoor pistol range and I figure it would be nice to shoot there.
