Does this gun really exist? I am looking for it in a 45 colt or 44 mag. Chris 515-210-2408

Yes Ruger made Bisley Hunters but they are not too common. They were made in both .44mag and .45 Colt.

I've been looking for one in .45 Colt with the regular grip frame (for a decent price) for a while now. They will pop up on the gun auction sites every once and a while but are way over priced.

Yep.....they do exist. My understanding is that 279 of them were made. It was a special run for a Ruger distributor (Lipsey's).

I have one and it is an excellent revolver.
