Yep, I took a two hour drive after school on Tuesdayto pick my new pistol. It's called the Mosquito... made by SIG SAUER... Although it's a loud SOB, it's awesome to shoot, feels great, and does the job.... .22LR ..... not huge, but will puta hole in someone if a dangerous momentoccured.... I hope not though.

Nice pistol.......now add the $25 pair of ear muffs to wear when you shoot it. You'll thank me when your 40.

Haha, that's funny.... I was just thinking the same thing. Man are ear muffs reallythat much? [:@]

I've always just used the little foam plugs.... but ear muffs would be nice.

I just threw a number out there, I'm sure you could find a pair for pretty cheap that will protect you fine with a .22
The point is to definitely wear something, everytime your ears get cracked by that or any gun it causes permanent hearing loss that will build up over time. Until your only 40 and going "Huh? what was that?"

Seriously start now and be smart about it and take care of your hearing. I know it's "only" a .22 but those little autos can really be piercing.

I hope you never have to shoot anyone with it either...

There is a reason it's called a Mosquito...

Nice pistol. If you think that a 22 rimfire pistol is loud try a large bore centerfire.I wear muffs which make my .22 seem quiet, but I need plugs and muffs to be comfortable when shooting a .44 mag Desert Eagle.

The little Sigs are nice! I wear double protection by using plugs and muffs.
