Ruger M77 "Ultralite" stainless
 

I purchased a Ruger "Ultralite" stainless rifle from a friend of mine. The gun is chambered in 30-06 and I am trying to get an aftermarket stock for the gun because the previous owner cut the stock and glued on the recoil pad. The stock is way to short for me and because of the damage to the stock putting a thicker recoil pad on is not an option. I have been looking for quite a while for a stock but have had no luck. The barrel contour on the "Ultralite" doesn't fit the standard long action replacement stocks. If anyone has found a replacement stock for thier Ruger "Ultralite" I would be greatful for the information. The only other option I have is to go directly to Ruger for a factory stock but I would much rather a camoflaged one if possible. Thank you in advance.

Give Ruger a call and see if they can get you a replacement stock.

I'm surprised that someplace like Boyd's doesn't have a suitable one. How about the top enders such as McMillan. Did you check with them?
