replacement rifle triggers

I'm going to replace my trigger on my Savage 111, (pre Accur tigger) I have a Rifle Basix trigger on my Sav. 116 set at 2.5 lbs and like it ok but it has a little creap, not crisp like breaking a glass rod. I've read that the Timney is somewhat better. What do you guys use?

I have a Timney and I think it's great. I put mine on a Ruger. Zero creep. I have mine set at 3lbs.

I've used both the timney triggers and the SSS and I prefer the timney.

Why not simply rework the rifle basix trigger to eliminate all the creep?

Good Idea, but we're talking about two rifles here. The 111 is the one I want to replace the stock trigger. And the 116 with the basix is fine, I just noticed a little creep.. No big deal

I have Rifle Basix triggers on 2 Ruger M77 Frontier rifles and they are excellent if you ask me. I also have a Timney trigger on a Rem. 700 and its also a good trigger. If both are avaliable for your gun, in my opinion you can't go wrong with either one.
