My Leupold is just a VX-I so nothing fancy. While it does seem to change poi easily I'm just wondering if the Burris scopes and others are this bad or if most can take a little abuse. I'm not saying dropping it out of a tree but more like with the scope just bumping around in a vehicle or something like that. Looks like I've gotten some pretty good answers though. Thanks guys.

I have had the posilock and can't say anything bad about it. Other than you have to actually lock down the crosshairs. A good scope one should not need to do that.

RE: How careful are you with your scope?

I have 11 guns and all of them carry leupold scopes. I have sold several others with the guns they were on. I have only had one issue and I dropped the gun on the ground and I would expect it to be off after a good fall.

I always stick my gun in a softcase when I am done hunting. I don't baby my guns but I don't want to put any unecesary wear and tear or dings on them. They will get enough "character" marks on them while hunting.
