Double ditto! I have an Ruger Redhawk and an Ruger Blackhawk, both in .41 mag. The only disadvantage is unless you reload, .41 mag ammo is over 1.00$ per round, and not near as widely available as .44 mag. Having said that, MY version of .357 is .41 mag, and MY version of .44 mag is .454 casull.

I'd go with something on the lines of a 30-30 lever action with no scope...Put a sling on it and throw it over your off shoulder and you never know it's there...
