i was talking about 000 buckshot. all the pellets are the same in the shells. Pro-line.. i have talked to Blain via e-mail. he is buisy at school.we hope to be hunting this year with his super deluxe shotgun. |
RE: Buckshot
I use a 2 3/4" 00 magnum shell containing 12 pellets and 4 drams of powder. I also have some reg. 2 3/4" 00 shells containing 9 pellets and has 2 3/4 drams of powder. And all shot sizes are standard and uniform no matter what company manufactures them. http://www.remington.com/ammo/shotshell/exp_bucksh.htm or http://www.remington.com/ammo/ballis...l/slubkbal.htm

RE: Buckshot
Some people don' t use buckshot the right way. They must think that just because the shot spreds that it gives them the ability the take bad shots or something. But I have taken many deer with 2-3/4" 00 9 pellet buckshot and they ALWAYS dropped on the spot. I always tried for a neck shot though.
IMO, buckshot is very effective if used the right way. |
